Position Title Marketing Trainee
Work Schedule This role is hybrid, based in the Richfield office. Employees are expected to be on-site four days a week (Tuesday–Thursday, with one remote day as business needs dictate).
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
Conduct market research and networking to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
Create and execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels.
Engage with existing and prospective customers to build relationships and support the division’s profit goals.
Develop marketing content, including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing activities and campaigns, tracking statistics on prospect lists, hit ratios, business retention, and new business production.
Assist underwriting with fact‑gathering, pricing of renewals, and supporting reports on business mix and new business.
Support promotion of additional coverage or programs to existing accounts to achieve premium development and retention goals.
Coordinate and transfer books of business and manage ongoing contracts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Qualifications:
Participation in a formal training program for 6 months to 1 year, close supervision, and technical direction. Understanding of marketing principles, assignments of low technical complexity, strong communication skills, proficiency in marketing software (CRM, email marketing, social media tools), foundational analytical skills, attention to detail. The position may require 10–20 % travel. No underwriting authority.
