
Senior Living Advisor - Sales and Marketing

Proven sales and business development experience a plus. Bonus Potential. Initially, this position will support the Field Pointe Campus, and then the territory is expected to expand to additional locations.
Your Role as a Senior Living Advisor Assisted Living & Memory Care
This role may also be known as:
Eldercare Advisor, Senior Living Sales Counselor, Community Sales Advisor, Occupancy Specialist, or Community Relations Manager.
You are responsible for
driving and maintaining census
across assigned communities by consistently closing new business. You’ll analyze sales needs, manage prospects through the full sales cycle, and partner closely with Executive Directors and Operations leaders to achieve and sustain
100% occupancy
with the right mix.
This is a
field‑based role
with up to
75% travel , offering autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful impact on the lives of seniors and their families.
What You’ll Do Sales Strategy & Occupancy Management
Analyze facility census needs and determine required lead volume to achieve full occupancy
Understand and evaluate selling cycles, conversion ratios, and time‑to‑close metrics
Partner with the Executive Director to establish and execute monthly and weekly sales plans
Recommend and implement actions that support strong occupancy and payer mix
Prospect Management & Lead Conversion
Conduct first appointments and one‑on‑one discovery conversations with prospects
Identify prospect needs and establish clear, date‑and‑time‑specific next steps
Guide prospects through the sales process:
Inquiry ? First Appointment ? 25% ? 50% ? 90% ? Closed
Secure scheduled admission dates and coordinate handoff to community leadership
Validate leads and determine when prospects should be advanced, continued, or disqualified
CRM, Reporting & Sales Board Management
Maintain accurate, timely sales notes and next steps in the CRM system
Ensure each prospect is correctly categorized on the sales activity board
Participate in weekly sales board calls and report on lead movement and progress
Track what has started, moved, and closed each week
Relationship Development
Build and maintain key referral relationships through phone, email, and face‑to‑face interaction
Maintain awareness of competitive offerings and market dynamics
Educate internal teams on inquiry handling and sales best practices
What You Bring
Minimum
18 years of age
with a high school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of senior living sales experience strongly preferred
Background in sales, marketing, healthcare, or senior services preferred
Strong relationship‑building, communication, and follow‑through skills
Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic, travel‑heavy schedule
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Passion for serving seniors and representing Americare with professionalism and heart
Physical & Work Environment Expectations
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to
25 lbs.
Push/pull up to
100 lbs.
and assist with wheelchair mobility up to
350 lbs.
Operate a vehicle safely for regional travel (up to
75% )
Use PPE and adhere to safety policies as required
Work from a professional office or home office environment depending on location
