Human Resource Director
The HR Director provides both strategic leadership and hands‑on management of all human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, payroll, compensation, benefits, training, compliance, and organizational development. This role serves as a key advisor to leadership while also directly managing the daily HR operations that support employees across all levels of the organization. The HR Director is responsible for developing innovative solutions to attract, engage, and retain talent while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with organizational objectives.
Analyze HR trends/metrics and collaborate with operations to develop policies, programs, and solutions.
Lead efforts to improve employee engagement, culture, and retention strategies.
Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, evaluations, merit increases, and bonus programs.
Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies that support compliance and organizational growth.
Serve as a trusted advisor for leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and employee development.
Hands‑On HR Operations
Lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, investigations, progressive discipline, and documentation.
Manage and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Oversee benefits administration, including open enrollment and issue resolution.
Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes for all positions.
Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences for employees.
Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning opportunities.
Maintain HR records, personnel files, and reporting systems in compliance with company and legal standards.
Oversee unemployment claims and represent the company in hearings when required.
Oversee workers compensation claims submissions.
Coordinate employee engagement activities and plan company events as needed.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support HR and business needs.
