Role Overview
This associate will work on complex M&A and private equity transactions, advising private equity firms, strategic buyers, and sellers across Chicago’s dynamic market and beyond. The role involves drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, leading due diligence processes, and managing sophisticated client relationships.
Qualifications
2–6 years’ experience in private equity and M&A at a top‑tier firm
JD from an accredited law school; Illinois Bar admission
Superior academic credentials
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Compensation
Competitive base salary $235,000 – $420,000, commensurate with experience
