The Regional Director of Hotel Finance provides support to the assigned hotels in the area/region by assisting the operations team to increase efficiencies and transform processes that enhance business performance measurement and metrics. This role collaborates with operations and ownership to gather data and analyze trends for data-driven decisions to improve hotel financial performance. The position works with field operations, finance leadership across the company, and corporate finance leadership. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or at least 5 years of experience in finance or data analytics; advanced degrees preferred. Hospitality finance experience strongly desired. PMP and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification helpful. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required. Experience in Project Management and developing business metrics. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to influence others and foster professional relationships. Job Responsibilities
Support operations leadership on financial responsibilities, ensuring accurate, timely reporting according to GAAP and hotel management contracts. Ensure timely payments and accruals of invoices, labor, and expenses in coordination with hotel and Shared Services teams. Visit hotels to review best practices, test controls, and serve as a resource. Monitor third-party vendors and contracts, ensuring compliance and periodic rebidding. Manage Accounts Receivable, pursue bad debts, and maintain collection policies. Identify and resolve financial statement variances. Handle special projects including budgeting, forecasting, and centralized billing. Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures and guidance. Oversee systems and processes to improve financial performance. Collaborate with corporate finance and operations to ensure process consistency and share best practices. Perform other duties and ad-hoc analyses as assigned. Property Information
