
New Business Entry & Problem Resolution Specialist

Description
As a New Business Entry & Problem Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for the input of new business data into the system and verifying information for accuracy. Your role will provide a wide variety of services to funeral homes, agents, marketing organizations, and account executives.
Responsibilities
Process and review new business insurance applications through a paperless workflow system, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with state regulations and company standards.
Verify application information, documentation, and legal forms to maintain accurate policy records and support underwriting requirements.
Ensures that the integrity of policyowners files and proper underwriting are within limits established by the company.
Processes new business cases needing resolution before issue, to ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements and company standards.
Provide responsive customer service by handling inquiries from agents, funeral homes, account executives, and policy owners via phone, email, and fax.
Maintain accurate records, underwriting notes, and production tracking while supporting policy processing and administrative operations
Collaborate with team members and management to improve processes, share information, and support operational efficiency.
Assists management in reviewing procedures for updates and possible additional training needs.
Maintains recordkeeping requirements and controls for daily production and keeps new business underwriting notes current.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of experience in general office support; data entry and new business processing experience preferred.
Prior experience in an insurance company environment is desirable.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Experience using the LifePro office administration system is preferred.
Completion of LOMA courses in Principles and Operations within two years of employment.
