Pitney Bowes is seeking a Renewal Inside Sales Executive for Government Accounts (remote in the Eastern and Central Time Zones, United States) as part of the SendTech Solutions Digital Shipping team. Your role is as a client‑centric sales professional focused on closing the deal and impacting our Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) goal. This is a remote sales position; qualified candidates must reside in the United States.

Status & Compensation The base pay is $21.88 per hour. This position is also eligible for incentive‑based earnings, bringing the total on‑target earnings (OTE) to approximately $80,500 annually. You must be legally authorized to work in the US and this employer will not sponsor work visas.

Responsibilities

Generate, upgrade, and manage the portfolio of existing government business through outbound calling (no cold calling).

Follow up on leads, use effective selling systems and techniques to probe, present and close sales with existing government clients.

Work with decision makers to address current needs and propose correct solutions.

Overcome sales hurdles by positioning program benefits, features, and the company’s value proposition.

Partner with internal teams to resolve errors and client escalations.

Identify and implement changes to improve performance and client experience.

Qualifications

Experience working with Government, NGOs, and Non‑Profit accounts (preferred).

Minimum 1 year experience executing outbound client calls to consult, assess needs, and recommend products and services.

Ability to overcome objections and close sales.

Consistent follow‑up on sales opportunities via phone and email.

Experience initiating outbound sales calls in a remote environment.

Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce for planning, documenting sales activities, updating customer information, and forecasting.
