Pay Rate and Schedule
Hourly rate: $21.00 hourly. Mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and sales commission available. Full‑time, 5 days a week. Hours: 12:05 pm to 9:00 pm.
About the Role We’re looking for In‑Home Sales & Tech Support to work during our busiest hours. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone starting their career, who enjoys talking to people and wants hands‑on sales experience.
Responsibilities As In‑Home Sales & Tech Support, you’ll help customers through Asurion’s Serve, Solve, Sell™ approach. You’ll start with paid training to prepare you to work independently in the field.
You’ll learn our products, gain sales experience, and build skills in communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving. Ongoing coaching and mentoring supports your growth.
In the field, you’ll consistently put the Serve, Solve, Sell™ model into action by:
Serve:
Meet customers in‑home, in‑office, or wherever they are. Asurion will pre‑schedule interactions so you can effectively meet and surpass sales targets.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire interaction, always prioritizing the customer first.
Solve:
Utilize your expertise to address and resolve customers’ tech issues, provide an understandable solution, regardless of their tech knowledge.
Ensure customers leave with a resolution that works and a product that addresses their future tech needs.
Sell:
Leverage Asurion’s growing range of products to offer tailored solutions to customers.
Listen actively to identify customer needs and position products uniquely.
Use strong negotiation and communication skills—make a smooth pivot, stay motivated, and make the appropriate sale.
Qualifications
Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least one year of driving experience.
Proof of valid car insurance (excluding Manhattan).
Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles). Customer service appointments are in neighborhoods and cities surrounding your inventory warehouse. Maximum expected travel distance is 120 miles, one‑way.
Work a varied 5‑day week schedule designed to meet customers on their timeline, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A personal cellphone to stay in the know while on the job.
Comfortable working around household pets.
Efficient, adaptable, goal‑oriented, and persuasive communication skills.
Open‑minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills that will carry through a variety of career paths.
Naturally outgoing individual who thrives in human interaction.
Note: Work hours may vary based on business needs and market demand. While a standard schedule is provided, flexibility may be required.

$35 phone stipend, paid monthly.
