Key Responsibilities Fundraising Events & Campaigns
Plan and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns alongside the development team, volunteer committees, Board of Directors, and staff
Support sponsor outreach, donor engagement, event logistics, program development, and post-event follow-up
Donor & Community Engagement
Build and nurture relationships with individual donors, corporations, civic groups, and foundations
Identify new supporters while strengthening relationships with existing donors to grow engagement and giving
Major Gifts & Planned Giving
Partner with the Chief Development Officer to identify and connect with major gift prospects
Support planned giving efforts and help ensure donors feel recognized and appreciated
Grant Writing & Management
Research grant opportunities that align with our mission
Write and submit proposals, manage deadlines, and collaborate with program staff to ensure strong applications
Annual Fund & Communications
Help develop and carry out annual giving campaigns
Create thoughtful donor communications such as appeals, newsletters, and impact reports
Ensure donors feel informed, appreciated, and connected to our work
Database Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate donor records
Track fundraising progress and generate reports
Use data to help guide decisions and improve outcomes
Fund Development Operations
Oversee gift processing and acknowledgments
Support matching gift and tribute programs
Help create new fundraising initiatives and ensure timely donor recognition
Marketing & Media Collaboration
Work with communications staff to promote fundraising efforts
Support storytelling and outreach to share our impact and mission
Professional Growth & Team Support
Stay current on fundraising best practices through learning and networking
Support the Chief Development Officer and contribute to a positive, team‑oriented environment
Pitch in where needed—because teamwork is at the heart of what we do
Qualifications
Possess a bachelor's degree.
10 years of experience in non‑profit development and fundraising.
Experience with special event coordination, working with volunteers, annual giving campaigns, and grant writing.
Excellent writing and communication skills
Have good computer skills – experience with donor database a plus
Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
Ability to perform essential job results, physical tasks and mental tasks.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Location:

Pay Rate:
$100,00 per year
