HR Director
Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA (onsite 3+ days/week)
A nonprofit client in Boston, MA, is looking to hire an HR Director who can take on a blended strategic & hands‑on role leading the function and managing their HR team. They are seeking a candidate with well‑rounded experience in HR, including significant experience with HR policies & procedures, employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, learning & development, recruiting and more.
Responsibilities
Review, create, and implement HR policies & procedures
Oversee HR operations and talent acquisition strategy organization-wide
Provide coaching to managers around employee relations issues and investigations as needed
Assess current training offerings to ensure employees are equipped with the tools needed to be successful
Oversee learning & development offerings with a focus on employee growth
Establish strong relationships with leadership, managers, and partners
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
10+ years of progressive and well‑rounded HR experience
Significant experience managing a team
Passionate about working in a mission‑driven environment
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
