Guided Search Partners, Boston, MA, United States
Guided Search Partners (GSP) is an Executive Search firm built on Trust, Transparency, Specialization, and Long-term Relationships. We connect high-performing professionals with organizations that value people, performance, and growth—helping leaders find roles where they can make an impact and build meaningful careers.
About the Opportunity We’re partnering with an established organization with more than 40 years in business, serving customers across the food, pharma, nutraceutical, and biopharmaceutical markets. Its products support liquid and particle processing as well as powder handling, making this an opportunity to lead within a specialized and technically driven environment. This is a newly open role and a strong fit for a commercial leader who enjoys building teams, driving growth, and staying close to the field. The position offers the chance to lead a North American team, shape strategy, and play a key role in developing the sales organization.
What You’ll Do You’ll lead and oversee the North American commercial team across sales, applications, and aftermarket support. A major part of the role is developing and guiding the team, including direct leadership of key managers and building out a newer group of sales representatives. This role also focuses on revenue growth and commercial strategy. You’ll work closely with internal teams, support the development of the sales organization, and spend time traveling in the field with the team to stay connected to customers and day-to-day execution.
Who You Are You’re a strong commercial leader who knows how to develop people while keeping the team focused on growth. You’re comfortable balancing strategy with hands‑on leadership and enjoy working across functions to move the business forward. You likely thrive in environments where relationship‑building, field engagement, and team development all matter. This role is well suited for someone who brings leadership presence, sales credibility, and a track record of growing teams and results.
Preferred Experience & Attributes
Bachelor’s degree
Proven success leading and developing a sales team
Track record of driving sales growth and revenue
Experience with capital equipment sold into pharma, food, biotech, or nutraceutical markets
Strong leadership and team development skills
Ability to work closely with internal teams across the business
Valid U.S. passport with the ability to travel to Canada and Mexico
Why This Role Matters This position plays an important leadership role in shaping the North American commercial organization. The person in this seat will help lead the team, support continued growth, and influence how the business shows up in the market. For the right person, this is a chance to step into a visible leadership role with team oversight, field engagement, and meaningful impact across sales and aftermarket activity.
