About the Team

Our Solution Consulting team acts as a strategic partner to the sales organization, responsible for building a compelling vision of Workday’s Human Capital Management (HCM) solution within the Professional & Business Services industry. The team brings the value of Workday’s HCM solutions to life, showcasing how the world of work can be transformed within this industry. Collaborating closely with sales counterparts, Product Management, Services/Implementation, Marketing, and Value Management, the team supports proactive engagements to accelerate product adoption and optimize customer health, enabling continued customer growth. About the Role

We are seeking a Senior HCM Solution Consultant to join our Professional & Business Services presales team. As a Solution Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor throughout the entire sales lifecycle, delivering value‑based executive presentations and tailored product demonstrations that solve unique business challenges. You will work closely with Account Executives and peer Solution Consultants to support both fast‑moving opportunities and large, strategic deals, driving revenue growth and sustainable business outcomes for Workday’s professional & business services customers. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Pursuit & Expansion: Orchestrate the end‑to‑end technical sales cycle for Customer Base accounts, including deep‑dive discovery, tailored solution demonstrations, and strategic vision workshops. Adoption & Value Realization: Lead proactive "Health Check" and optimization engagements to identify underutilized capabilities, securing long‑term customer health and revenue retention. Executive Influence: Deliver high‑stakes presentations to CHROs and IT leadership, aligning Workday’s innovation roadmap with their strategic business needs. Cross‑Functional Advocacy: Serve as the "Voice of the Financial Customer" by partnering with Product Management & Marketing to influence the future of Workday’s industry‑specific offerings. Basic Qualifications

5+ years Pre‑sales field experience within cloud‑based HCM ecosystems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle). 5+ years of deep Human Capital Management expertise (Core HR, Talent, Recruitment, Learning, Payroll). Other Qualifications

Professional & Business Service Industry Focus: Experience navigating the complexities of Professional & Business Services organizations. Executive Presence: Ability to command a room at the C‑Suite level and influence complex decision‑making processes. Value‑Based Selling: Expert‑level discovery skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into a compelling vision for digital transformation. Agility: A self‑starter who thrives in ambiguous, high‑stakes environments and can manage multiple concurrent projects with precision. Adaptability: Comfortable with the high‑velocity and magnitude of change, viewing change as a growth opportunity and embracing a continuous improvement mindset. Creativity: Generates unique ideas or approaches to improve the work with a willingness to innovate and take calculated risks. Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
