About The Little Gym With more than 300 locations across the globe, The Little Gym is the world's premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. For nearly five decades, we've helped millions of kids experience the thrill of achievement, build new skills, and find new confidence through gymnastics-based programming in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment.
About This Opportunity This is a ground-floor leadership role at a brand-new location in Bloomfield Hills, one of Michigan's most vibrant and family-forward communities. You won't be inheriting someone else's gym. You'll be building the culture, the team, and the membership base from day one. That's a rare opportunity, and we're looking for someone who sees it that way.
You'll report directly to the owners and have real ownership over the outcomes that matter: enrollment growth, member retention, staff development, and community presence.
What You'll Do
Lead and teach classes rooted in The Little Gym's proven curriculum, setting the standard for energy, safety, and child engagement on the floor
Drive membership growth through enrollment conversations, tours, and community outreach
Build and manage a high-performing team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and ongoing development
Own the member experience from first visit to long-term retention
Manage day-to-day operations including scheduling, facility maintenance, and compliance with TLG standards
Collaborate directly with ownership on goal-setting, performance, and the long-term vision for the location
What We're Looking For
2+ years of management or leadership experience, preferably in a membership-based, fitness, or children's enrichment environment
A proven track record of building relationships with customers or families
Experience in sales or enrollment
Background in child development, physical education, gymnastics, or a related field is a strong plus
Exceptional energy, organization, and follow-through
A genuine love for children and a belief that what happens in this gym actually matters to the kids and families we serve
Compensation
$55,000 base salary
Performance bonus opportunity up to $5,000 in Year 1, tied to membership growth, retention, and revenue targets
