We are seeking a dynamic and strategic

Vice President, Growth and Partnerships

to help shape and accelerate the organization’s global expansion and long-term impact. This role will lead efforts to identify new market opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive innovative business development initiatives that strengthen our brand, platform, and value proposition.

Working closely with the SVP and Managing Directors across business units, the Vice President, Growth and Partnerships will help align global strategies with regional priorities to ensure ideas translate into meaningful results locally.

Vice President, Growth and Partnerships

you will:

Strategic Vision and Leadership

Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy, encompassing strategic business development initiatives to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Expand market share and drive entry into new markets (audiences, geographies, life science areas, etc.) including establishing refreshed product and service models that more effectively engage our existing audience and C-suite executives across the continuum of healthcare products.

Partner with CEO, CFO, and SVP & MD, Global Products and Professional Education to evaluate and develop strategy, business case, and financial model for new opportunities outside of current DIA product portfolio.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Science, Regional Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and the achievement of organizational objectives.

Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to ensure our offerings remain relevant and competitive.

Business Development

Identify and execute new funding sources, revenue opportunities, and key partnerships to grow DIA beyond its core business.

Identify untapped opportunities within the life sciences ecosystem to expand DIA’s existing core product portfolio.

Establish, improve, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the life sciences industry across drug, device, and diagnostic areas and regulatory agencies. Develop robust partnerships which feed our sales pipeline.

Network among associations, life sciences companies, academia, and other tangential organizations to DIA to identify opportunities for organic and strategic partnerships and growth.

Represent DIA as a thought leader and essential platform for life sciences at industry events and conferences, promoting our products and services and fostering strategic partnerships.

Finance and Administration

Prepare annual and long-term strategic plans and budgets for Business Development. Manage resources and spend within budget.

Ensure that cashflow of new initiatives aligns with the near- and long-term goals of the organization.

Employment Type:

Full-time exempt, salary range $180,000.00 - $195,000.00. Various factors are taken into account when determining the final pay for a position. These factors include, but are not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, competencies aligned with the role, educational background, internal equity, and external market analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.

15+ years of leadership experience in sales, business development, or marketing, ideally in a global or multinational environment.

Proven track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and securing major accounts.

Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or medical products industry strongly preferred; association experience a plus.

Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business plans with measurable outcomes.

Demonstrated leadership ability to communicate effectively, motivate teams, and operate successfully within a global, matrixed organization.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Alignment with the organization’s mission and core values.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Fluency in English required; additional language proficiency is a plus.
