Job Description The Ford Racing Strategy Manager will be the go-to thought partner to help deliver the Ford Racing Strategy via building necessary capabilities spanning the business.

They will be an influence-first leader who collaborates and works with stakeholders within and beyond Ford Racing. This role is an individual contributor on a small, agile, high-performance team.

Responsibilities

Hypotheses generation: Rigorously and logically identify issues covering the entire problem in the assigned work stream(s).

Structuring and solving the problem: Determine the most efficient and effective approach to solving complex problems, leveraging the organization’s existing knowledge and broader expertise.

Conducting analyses: Ensure high-quality and accurate analysis; select effective analytical approaches and guide the team in applying leading-edge techniques.

Synthesis and generating recommendations: Develop compelling insights from complex analysis, synthesize key conclusions, and provide sound recommendations.

Effective communication and persuasion: Demonstrate strong influencing skills by communicating findings, conclusions, and recommendations both verbally and in writing, including persuasive presentations to Ford Leadership.

Apprenticeship and leadership: Act as a ‘player‑coach’, break down problems into discrete workstreams, balance doing versus delegating, and coach team members on strategy tools.

Manage multiple topics simultaneously with support from the strategy lead and business analysts.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree.

Strong interest in motorsports and performance vehicles.

Demonstrated thought leadership and problem‑solving expertise within Ford.

Comfort with ambiguity and desire to build or develop organizations and people.

Proven experience leading high-impact cross‑functional projects at a global scale.

Inherently curious, analytically inclined, and love solving problems.

Deep understanding of automotive industry dynamics, trends, operations, and managerial accounting.

Track record of challenging the status quo and delivering creative solutions.

Love teaching and mentoring colleagues.

Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Even better, you may have

MBA from a top institution.

Prior experience leading strategy projects or large-scale programs.

Experience in a professional services firm.

Technical background with advanced analytics.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500 to $218,100. Salary will be set within this range based on skills and experience.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be on site four or more days per week.
