Role Overview The Director, Global Oncology Market Access Lung will lead the development of market access strategies for the pipeline assets with lung indications (GMAx responsibilities). The role requires deep knowledge of the lung cancer access landscape to embed market access considerations early in asset development and to lead strategy discussions for pipeline assets.
Primary Responsibilities
Translate deep knowledge of the lung access landscape, competitors, payers, and future access trends into actionable insights and access strategies.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Oncology Global Market Access, Pricing, Global and US Marketing, Global Pricing, Value, Implementation, Policy, Regional Market Access, SAS—to provide lung market access viewpoints across stakeholder workstreams.
Work with teams to develop payer value proposition and scientific narrative that links to pipeline assets with lung indications.
Lead lung‑strategy development for selected pipeline assets and drive discussions at key forums and meetings.
Monitor oncology global competitors, comparator prices, and strategy.
Collaborate with GMAx asset leads to ensure coherent strategy development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a business or science discipline.
Master’s degree (MBA/MS) or other postgraduate degree (preferred).
Experience in product development and commercialization process.
Understanding of the global payer environment and perspectives in lung cancer.
Strong influencing, negotiating, conflict‑resolution, and strategic thinking skills.
Proven track record of leading cross‑functional matrix teams.
Strong project‑management, implementation, and operational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong commercial orientation and business acumen.
Preferred Qualifications
7 years of experience in oncology and/or market access & pricing and business development.
Market access and product launch experience.
Experience with policy and payer engagement specific to lung cancer.
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $190,800.00 – $300,300.00. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement (401(k)), paid holidays, vacation, and compassionate/sick days.
Work Arrangement U.S. hybrid work model: employees in office‑based positions will work a hybrid schedule with three total days on site per week (Monday‑Thursday, with Friday remote) unless business critical tasks require on‑site presence. Roles designated as remote are exempt from this model.
