Location:

About The Job Join the team transforming care for people with immune challenges, rare diseases, cancers, and neurological conditions. In Specialty Care, you’ll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs.

Sanofi's Immunology franchise is expanding rapidly, supported by latest stage priority assets including amlitelimab and duvakitug, alongside a robust early‑stage pipeline across dermatology, asthma, gastroenterology, rheumatology, and other immunology‑driven indications.

As the Director, Global Market Access & Pricing (GMAP), you will lead the strategic vision for global access, pricing, and early value across the immunology pipeline. You will influence clinical strategy, payer‑driven development, and long‑term commercial potential from the earliest stages of R&D engagement. This highly cross‑functional leadership role requires scientific fluency, analytical rigor, strong leadership, and close collaboration with global, regional, and local partners.

Main Responsibilities Shape Early Global Access Strategy

Set the global access and pricing strategy for early‑stage assets in partnership with New Product Planning, R&D, and therapeutic area teams.

Define early payer value propositions and topline value narratives that guide long‑horizon decision‑making.

Establish and steward an Early Market Access Roadmap to align stakeholders on value ambitions and development inflection points.

Influence Clinical Development with Payer Insights

Integrate payer insights and unmet‑need assessments to inform indication prioritization, endpoints, comparators, and pivotal trial design.

Deliver early opportunity assessments that reflect value ambitions, scenario modeling, and inputs for forecasting.

Global Launch Excellence & Multi‑Launch Readiness

Define a long‑range global launch vision by embedding payer‑relevant value, access requirements, and pricing considerations early in development to ensure alignment and predictable launch trajectories across markets.

Establish scalable, repeatable global access pathways that enable frictionless preparation for multiple anticipated launches in 2030 and beyond, ensuring strategic coherence and synchronized global‑to‑local execution.

Strengthen foundational frameworks and governance structures to create a durable, high‑efficiency launch engine without added operational burden.

Enable Global Alignment & Governance

Serve as a core member of the Global Project Team, integrating payer, pricing, and access considerations across clinical, medical, HEVA, R&D, regulatory, and New Product Planning partners.

Lead GLocal access connectivity to ensure insights from priority markets inform global strategy and value ambitions.

Provide strategic guidance for governance bodies including TARC, DWG, IDCC, and SPM.

About You Education / Experience / Skills

Bachelor’s degree in science, business, health economics, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

10+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry related to market access, pricing, contracting, or marketing.

Expertise in early‑stage clinical development, payer value drivers, and evidence strategy.

Advanced analytical capability in pricing, forecasting inputs, and scenario modeling.

Experience across US or ex‑US payer environments.

Exceptional executive communication and influence skills in matrixed, global settings.

Demonstrated ability to create strategic clarity in ambiguous, fast‑moving contexts.

A strategic leader who shapes long‑term value pathways, not just execution.

A collaborative integrator who aligns global, regional, and local partners around shared priorities.

A decisive, resourceful problem‑solver who balances urgency with sound judgment.

A patient‑centric strategist who brings external signals and future market dynamics into planning.
