Responsibilities

Developing strategic business plans that align client objectives with company goals.

Managing and negotiating contracts to ensure all commitments are consistently met.

Monitoring service levels and leading teams to highlight quality delivery and staff development.

Collaborating with clients and suppliers to enhance operational efficiency and relationships.

Identifying potential issues quickly and executing effective solutions.

You Might Also Have:

Experience in event technology, data analytics and data‑driven process improvement. Our ideal candidate has tenured experience in the Meetings & Events industry from an agency perspective.

Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail in tracking operational performance.

A knack for facilitating strategic account reviews and engaging senior leadership.

Excellent communication skills to foster collaboration and connectivity within teams.

A passion for mentoring and developing talent within a dynamic work environment.

You Should Know:

This role reports onsite at our client's office in Midtown, Manhattan at least 4 days per week. Relocation assistance will be offered for this role.

This position is fast paced and exciting! If you have experience leading meetings and events teams in a corporate/financial industry setting, this role might be a great fit for you!

There will be occasional travel outside of New York associated with this position.

Travel requirements for this role are as follows: 25% to 50%

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Global Account Director, Meetings & Events is between $200,000 - $240,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
