A Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, support seasonal resets and installations as needed, and occasionally work with other products in stores serviced.

Salary and Schedule Details

Your starting hourly pay rate will be

$12.00-$14.00 , depending on your skills and experience.

Paid training delivered through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Part‑time employees receive voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, etc.

Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the week.

Average weekly hours:

8‑10 hours per week .

Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is

required .

Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Your Role and Responsibilities You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components:

Day‑to‑day engagement:

Restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products using a mobile device. Use technology to communicate with supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer required surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.

Holiday support:

Provide additional days and extended hours around holidays such as Valentine's, Easter, Mother's, Father's, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May work on actual holidays, including weekends.

Department resets:

Participate in installations and tasks such as building and installing fixtures, relocating departments and products, and resetting card sections. Notifications typically two weeks in advance. May include evenings or weekends.

Team support:

Support other merchandisers as needed within the field organization network.

Physical Requirements Physically demanding job requiring high energy and urgency. Work on sales floor and back stockrooms. Push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally. Kneel, squat, walk, stand throughout the day; may climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Can read, write, and understand English.

Can lift and carry products up to 30 lb frequently and 50 lb occasionally.

Operates a digital handheld device to open and read documents.

Has Wi‑Fi internet access.

Has reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
