Marketing Expert Services Manager
A global, science-driven organization is seeking a Marketing Expert Services Manager to own and grow a portfolio of technical and expert service offerings. The role focuses on driving service strategy, new service development, and go-to-market execution to increase revenue and margin across the business. This position involves collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure services align with market needs and are effectively positioned.
Responsibilities
Own the marketing strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of expert and technical services.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform new service development.
Lead new service launches, including planning, internal enablement, and external promotion.
Create and execute B2B marketing campaigns including digital, content, webinars, and trade marketing.
Drive lead generation initiatives and report on key performance metrics.
Act as a project manager for North American and global initiatives.
Coordinate branding, messaging, and marketing collateral across channels.
Partner with Sales and technical stakeholders to increase visibility and adoption of services.
Participate in client meetings, industry events, and trade shows to maintain a strong customer perspective.
Essential Skills
5+ years in B2B marketing, service marketing, or product marketing.
Experience developing and executing marketing strategies for service-based offerings.
Proven project management experience supporting cross-functional initiatives.
Strong analytical skills related to market research and performance metrics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
MBA or equivalent advanced business education.
Experience in food, science, testing, inspection, certification (TIC), or regulated industries.
Experience in launching new services or solutions within a technical or scientific environment.
Experience in digital marketing, marketing strategy, marketing communications, and marketing campaigns.
Work Environment This role offers high visibility with ownership of a growing service portfolio. It provides the opportunity to influence strategy, innovation, and commercial outcomes with exposure to global stakeholders and markets. The work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, with three days onsite, specifically Monday through Friday.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $105,000.00 - $115,000.00/yr.
