Description
A client of TEKsystems is seeking an IT Asset Manager to support a North America laptop refresh initiative involving a new vendor. This is a 1-year+ contract with strong potential for contract-to-hire.
This role is hybrid, with candidates sitting 2-3 days per week onsite.
The IT Asset Manager will be responsible for ensuring inventory levels align with refresh targets while keeping orders flowing smoothly throughout the rollout.
Key Responsibilities
Forecast, coordinate, and refresh laptop inventory to meet program goals
Ensure hardware orders are placed and fulfilled smoothly
Partner closely with the procurement team to coordinate purchase orders as needed
Support vendor transition during large-scale enterprise laptop refresh
Apply technical knowledge to ensure appropriate hardware configurations are ordered (e.g., RAM, processors, storage)
Skills IT Asset Management, Inventory forecasting & coordination, IT knowledge, Procurement coordination (purchase orders, vendor management), Experience supporting enterprise laptop refresh programs, Cross-functional collaboration with IT, procurement, and vendors
Experience Level Intermediate Level
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wayzata, MN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 – $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
