Personal Injury Paralegal

Full-Time, Direct Hire | Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Compensation:
$85,000–$120,000 DOE + comprehensive benefits
LHH is partnering with a well-established plaintiff-side law firm in Irvine seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support attorneys handling complex, high-value personal injury matters. This role offers meaningful responsibility, exposure to sophisticated cases, and the opportunity to work closely with attorneys from case inception through resolution.
Responsibilities
Draft and prepare a wide range of legal documents, including complaints, pleadings, discovery responses, memoranda, affidavits, motions, and correspondence.
Assist attorneys with all aspects of personal injury litigation, from pre-litigation through trial and settlement.
Prepare and serve notices, coordinate and schedule depositions, and draft and serve subpoenas.
Manage discovery processes, including propounding and responding to discovery, organizing document productions, and tracking deadlines.
Support complex, high-exposure cases involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and other significant matters.
Coordinate with clients, experts, medical providers, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
Maintain case calendars, monitor litigation deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders as needed.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal, plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience supporting complex, high-value personal injury cases.
Strong drafting skills with experience preparing pleadings, discovery, and litigation documents independently.
Thorough understanding of California civil litigation procedures and deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work product.
Professional written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.
