Position Summary The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating high-quality visual content across digital platforms, including graphic design, motion graphics, animation, and video editing. This role supports marketing and communication initiatives by translating concepts and brand standards into engaging, on‑brand creative assets for social media, presentations, and other digital touchpoints. The Multimedia Designer collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver visually compelling content while managing multiple projects and meeting established deadlines.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Create motion graphics and animations to support marketing campaigns, brand storytelling, and internal communications.
Edit and assemble short‑form video content, ensuring accuracy, pacing, and alignment with brand standards.
Design and produce visual assets across multiple digital platforms, including social media, presentations, and marketing materials.
Collaborate with marketing, creative, and cross‑functional partners to execute projects from concept through final delivery.
Apply and maintain brand guidelines across all creative work to ensure visual consistency and quality.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and project requirements.
Prepare, organize, and deliver final creative files in appropriate formats for various platforms and uses.
Revise and refine creative assets based on feedback from stakeholders.
Stay informed on current design, motion, and digital media trends and apply best practices where appropriate.
Skills
Advanced motion graphics and animation skills for digital and social platforms, with an emphasis on storytelling and visual clarity.
Strong video editing skills, including sequencing, pacing, transitions, basic audio integration, and delivery across multiple aspect ratios.
Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including After Effects and Premiere Pro; working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
Working knowledge of design and collaboration tools such as Canva and Figma for creating, editing, and maintaining digital design assets.
Ability to translate creative concepts and brand direction into engaging, on‑brand motion, video, and multimedia assets.
Solid graphic design fundamentals, including layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Understanding of platform requirements, formats, and best practices for social and digital video content.
Ability to apply and maintain brand standards consistently across motion, video, and static design assets.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Collaborative communicator who works effectively with cross‑functional partners and incorporates feedback efficiently.
Preferred Experience
3–5 years of professional experience in multimedia design, motion graphics, video production, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience creating platform‑optimized video and motion content for digital channels, including social media.
Proficiency working with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) in a professional environment.
Experience producing supporting design assets (e.g., titles, layouts, thumbnails, presentation visuals) to complement motion and video work.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including marketing and creative partners, in a fast‑paced environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of creative quality and attention to detail.
A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate strong motion graphics, video, and multimedia design capabilities.
Preferred Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Motion Graphics, Graphic Design or related area, or equivalent experience.
