Vice President, Public Relations
Location: Portland, OR
Responsibilities
Provide strategic counsel to C‑suite executives as a trusted advisor, helping clients reach and exceed their goals
Be part of a collaborative and highly skilled team, working with local and national B2B, finance and enterprise clients with an emphasis on corporate communications
Work on integrated marketing and communication campaigns that reward out‑of‑the‑box thinking
Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years of agency experience and the ability to efficiently lead multiple clients simultaneously; proficiency in strategic communications for clients in financial or professional services industries is not required but is preferred
Demonstrated experience in all phases of client service, including development of PR/integrated communication strategies and plans; media pitching; content development; digital, influencer and social media campaigns; project and team management; reporting and budget management
Successfully developed and implemented impactful, brand‑building programs and campaigns spanning traditional and new media, social media, influencer, and digital platforms
Proven success in corporate, employee and executive communications with strong oral and written communication skills
Experience in media and spokesperson training, crisis planning and management
Passion for mentoring and helping junior team members grow
Creativity, ingenuity, and an initiative‑taking attitude
A bachelor’s degree in public relations, business, communications, marketing, journalism, English, or related field
Candidates must be able to work from the Portland, Oregon office at least three days per week.
