Product Designer IV – Notifications Team Location: Remote, Bay Area or Seattle preferred. Employment Type: Contract. Summary As a Product Designer IV on our Notifications team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a surface that drives 60% of daily sessions. You’ll help implement our latest vision to simplify and elevate the notifications experience, collaborating with cross‑functional partners to ensure our solutions prioritize user needs and drive key metrics. Your work will directly impact how people connect with content and each other on our platform, driving engagement and growth across the platform. Strategic Themes (2025/26) Quality: Enhance content and layout quality while reducing notification volume. Simplification: Deliver a bold new vision and design layout for the notifications tab, ensuring consistency across all delivery surfaces. Pathing: Create streamlined, intuitive pathways from notifications to content. Personalization: Tailor notification content to individual users for long‑term growth. Responsibilities Lead the implementation of new design standards for notifications across all surfaces. Think holistically about notifications across surfaces and content types, driving engagement and growth. Ensure all design work aligns with our internal design system and quality standards. Collaborate extensively with cross‑functional teams and partners across our app. Drive strategy for push notifications, focusing on both remediating legacy patterns and introducing new ones to align with our quality and simplicity standards. Demonstrate craft and execution through high competency in Figma and a solid understanding of our internal design system. Ramp up on internal prototyping tools to ensure a high level of craft in all deliverables.
