Sr Business Development Consultant GreenSky LLC, headquartered in Atlanta, is a leading technology company Powering Commerce at the Point of Sale® for a growing ecosystem of merchants, consumers, and banks. Overview The Senior Business Development Consultant (BDC) is responsible for new merchant acquisition, selling the benefits of the GreenSky program to home improvement contractors nationwide. In addition, the role involves making outbound calls to reinvigorate and win back previous businesses that have stopped offering GreenSky. The focus is on generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying leads, logging customer information, and meeting sales quotas. Key duties include building a pipeline of prospects, maintaining a database, scheduling and following up on training appointments, and collaborating with the sales team. Success is measured by enrolling high‑value merchants who want to grow their business and delight customers through GreenSky payment options. Location Hybrid/Remote – Sandy Springs, GA Responsibilities Make outbound calls to new and previous customers (“win‑back”) to schedule training appointments with Account Managers. Work with the sales department to ensure appointments are kept and outcomes are documented. Research and identify potential clients based on target demographics and Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs). Contact prospects through cold calling, emailing, and social selling. Build initial rapport, practice active listening, and develop relationships with potential clients. Update and maintain customer records and contact information. Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior. Meet or exceed monthly sales and appointment‑setting goals. Participate in training to maintain product and service knowledge. Conduct call review sessions with your manager to encourage skill development. Qualifications BA/BS Degree Minimum of 1 year of successful consultative, phone‑based sales experience. Proven track record of sales success with quantifiable results. Experience with cold calling to prospects. Solutions‑oriented approach. Proficiency in Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and PC technical skills. Preferred experience with dialing/cadence software such as Outreach or SalesLoft. Ability to work from home and conduct phone/video calls in a dedicated quiet workspace. Compensation and Benefits The base salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 per year, with a monthly commission and eligibility for an annual bonus.
