Salesforce QA Automation Engineer (Service Cloud)
Location: Seattle, WA (onsite)
We are looking for a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Service Cloud implementation, focusing on end-to-end automation of the Salesforce UI. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between a Salesforce Administrator and a Quality Engineer, possessing the technical depth to configure the platform and the expertise to build robust automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce UI using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Provar.
Service Cloud Focus: Validate complex Service Cloud workflows, including Case Management, Omni-Channel routing, Knowledge Base, and Entitlements.
Salesforce Administration: Perform admin tasks such as managing Profiles, Permission Sets, Validation Rules, and Flow Builder to set up test environments and data.
Regression Testing: Execute automated regression suites to ensure new releases do not impact existing Service Cloud functionalities.
Collaboration: Work closely with Developers and Product Owners to define acceptance criteria and translate functional requirements into automated test cases.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Salesforce QA with a heavy focus on Automation.
Technical Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks (Java/Selenium, JavaScript/Playwright, or Salesforce‑specific tools like Provar/Copaldo).
Salesforce Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Service Cloud ecosystem and Salesforce UI (Lightning Experience).
Admin Capabilities: Strong grasp of Salesforce configuration (Objects, Fields, Flows, Process Builder).
API Testing: Ability to perform API testing using Postman or SoapUI to validate integrations.
Certifications (Preferred)
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
