Salesforce & Automation QA lead

• 8+ years of experience in QA with strong focus on automation testing • Strong experience in testing Salesforce applications (Account, Lead to Opportunity lifecycle) • Hands-on experience in UI testing (Salesforce Lightning) and data validation using SOQL • Good understanding of Salesforce fundamentals: Objects, Fields, Validation Rules, Profiles, Roles, Permissions, Sales/Service Cloud flows • Experience working in domains like Insurance / Banking / CRM • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and QA processes Technical: • Expertise in automation tools: Selenium, WebdriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright • Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript • Experience in API testing using Postman / REST Assured • Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs • Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA / qTest Roles & Responsibilities: • Lead QA team and manage end-to-end testing activities • Define test strategy, test plans, and automation approach • Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and automation test cases • Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium / WebdriverIO) • Perform Salesforce application testing across different modules • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab / Azure DevOps) • Track, manage, and report defects using JIRA / qTest • Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders for quality delivery • Provide test metrics, status reports, and actionable quality insights Generic Managerial Skills: • Strong experience in Agile methodologies • Proven experience in managing QA teams • Ability to coordinate effectively with business and technical stakeholders Good to Have: • Experience in Salesforce automation frameworks • Certifications in Salesforce or Automation Testing • Exposure to cloud-based QA environments Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
