Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a growing wealth and retirement advisory firm to identify a Relationship Manager. This client-facing role offers the opportunity to support and manage institutional retirement plan clients while delivering high-touch service, strategic guidance, and operational excellence. The Relationship Manager will serve as a key liaison across client relationships, working closely with advisors and internal teams to drive client satisfaction, retention, and long‑term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary day‑to‑day point of contact for institutional retirement plan clients, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
Partner with Retirement Plan Consulting Advisors to develop and implement investment and plan strategies aligned with client objectives and fiduciary best practices.
Lead and participate in client meetings, including ongoing relationship management and prospective client discussions.
Coordinate across internal teams, including marketing, compliance, and record‑keeping partners, to deliver a seamless client experience.
Manage follow‑up actions and ensure timely, accurate execution of client deliverables.
Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in financial services, financial planning, or retirement plan advisory.
Strong knowledge of retirement planning concepts, fiduciary practices, and client relationship management.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Experience with Salesforce, RPAG, Morningstar, or similar platforms preferred.
