Responsibilities
Prepare and review domestic federal and state income tax workpapers utilized for estimated tax payments, investor tax projections, and timely tax filings of returns and reports Manage aspects of tax compliance, which vary based on assignments, including preparation or review of tax basis trial balances, incentive carry waterfalls, depreciation calculations, federal and state tax withholding, E&P adjustments, and ASC 740 income tax provisions Collaborate with outside tax firms regarding review comments on prepared tax returns and interact on research questions and projects Identify, research, and analyze tax technical issues Draft written memos to document tax positions and memorialize meeting notes
