$45 - $50 /hour, depending on experience

Piping Designer
to join their team!
Join an innovative engineering consultant firm, specializing in natural gas projects. As a
Piping Designer , you'll support mechanical engineers in designing and laying out piping systems for natural gas projects. This role offers a chance to lead diverse projects and make impactful contributions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Prepare planning, proposals, and site evaluations
Develop analytical designs and construction documentation
Lead project teams with diverse portfolios
Produce PFDs and P&IDs from design engineer descriptions
Plan and develop production work drawings
Analyze reports, drawings, and tests for project planning
Review design drawings for quality assurance
Compute calculations for layouts and schematics
Maintain project-related information logically
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's in drafting technology or related field
Minimum 7 years of related experience
Advanced design software skills: AutoCAD, Plant3D, CADWorx
Proficient in 2D and 3D engineering applications
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Revit software
Knowledge of piping design codes and specifications
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Onsite position with no remote or hybrid options
