Lead fast-paced interior buildouts (10k-150k SF) for office tenants and building owners. You'll own field execution, coordinate trades, and drive safety, quality, and schedule in occupied buildings and tower environments.
Client Details A mid-to-large general contractor with a strong repeat-client portfolio across Class A corporate interiors in downtown Chicago. Known for schedule certainty, high-finish delivery, and collaborative jobsite culture.
Description
Plan and run daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, and look-ahead scheduling
Enforce safety (OSHA compliance, JHAs, daily huddles) and site logistics in occupied spaces
Oversee quality control for high-end finishes (millwork, glass systems, specialty ceilings)
Maintain as-builts, RFIs, field reports; collaborate closely with PM on cost and change events
Lead punch and closeout with building management and tenant reps
Profile
6-10+ years as a Superintendent with
corporate interiors/office buildouts
(tower experience preferred)
Strong tenant coordination, elevator/logistics planning, and MEP/FP sequencing
Proficiency with Procore or similar, look-ahead schedules (P6/Project), and plan markup
OSHA 30 required; carpentry or interiors trade background preferred
