
Director of Behavioral Intervention Services

We are seeking an experienced BCBA/LBA to join our team as the Director of Behavior Intervention Services (BIS). This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the clinical quality, operational efficiency, and continued growth of the BIS department.
The Director of BIS will lead department strategy, manage and support providers, and drive initiatives related to recruitment, training, and program development. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about building high-performing teams and expanding service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical oversight and guidance to Behavior Intervention providers, including consultation on goal development and case needs
Establish department goals and objectives aligned with organizational growth and clinical excellence
Develop, implement, and refine procedures to ensure efficient and consistent department operations
Lead recruitment and networking efforts to attract and retain high-quality BIS providers (including attending job fairs and professional events)
Build and maintain a strong provider network to support service delivery needs
Develop and facilitate professional development trainings across the BIS department
Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and department growth initiatives
Oversee provider performance, ensuring high standards of clinical quality and accountability
Partner with internal teams on cross-department initiatives and special projects
Oversee and guide department-related content and engagement efforts, including recruitment-focused initiatives
Qualifications
Active BCBA and/or LBA certification (required)
Strong clinical background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Experience in program development, staff training, and team management
Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
