
Email Marketing Specialist

Job Summary
Responsible for delivering our award-winning email campaigns to consumers and travel agent partners.
Leverage best practices when building responsive email campaigns, review content for accuracy and help analyze results that enhance the overall communication strategy and automate trigger-based programs.
Position Responsibilities
Build high-quality/compelling, email marketing templates including but not limited to: brief copywriting, image editing/enhancements, animations, banner ads and HTML responsive coding with an understanding of email best practices.
Effectively prioritize projects and deliver multiple email campaigns based on defined email marketing plan and audience.
Manage email data list imports and campaign filters within email marketing platform and periodically generate manual file imports as needed.
Communicate with key Marketing team members, stakeholders and media partners to define campaign objectives, design concepts, content approvals and delivery dates.
Coordinate and configure lifecycle trigger campaigns using dynamic content rules for personalization through email service provider.
Evaluate email design elements and optimize campaigns based on results including A/B testing and tracking.
Cultivate an attention to branding details for creative alignment across all marketing assets.
Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Web Design, Graphic Design or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Experience
3-5 years responsive design experience using HTML, CSS, and graphic design in a corporate or agency environment is required. 3 years working on various email campaigns and trigger programs within ESP environment is required.
Knowledge & Skills
Must be savvy in graphic design and HTML coding with the ability to find solutions in the event service provider limitations pose a challenge
Must be a critical thinker, have an understanding of basic marketing fundamentals and possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Candidate should effectively manage multiple projects and tasks and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
A strong work ethic and effective communication skills with other teams is essential to the overall success of the department
Technical Skills Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Adobe XD (wire frames), Microsoft Word, Excel, Acrobat, Email on Acid or Litmus, Liveclicker or other interactive email solutions. Enterprise email marketing platforms (i.e.: ExactTarget, Responsys or Cheetah Digital) are a must.
