Relationship Manager II – Community Development Banking
Position Overview
PNC’s Community Development Banking team aims to improve low‑to‑moderate income neighborhoods in Alabama and Florida. The Relationship Manager II will originate community development loans and investments, engage partners, and expand the bank’s services in lower‑income communities.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate relationship management activities with new and existing clients to grow sales, revenue, and market share.
Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships while generating revenue and deepening wallet share.
Originate, analyze, negotiate, and document credit and non‑credit products and services.
Manage risk and quality for clients, identifying and mitigating regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks.
Provide client insights, increasing engagement and loyalty, and present PNC’s full product suite.
Analyze and mitigate credit risk for complex requests using advanced credit fundamentals and internal policies.
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with sustainable loan principles
Real‑Estate Lending
Tax Credit Financing
Commercial Lending
Previous Relationship Management experience
Formal Bank Credit training preferred
Self‑starter with network of COI relationships to generate loans and investments
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and attend after‑hours events
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience)
5+ years of industry‑relevant experience
Strong client‑relationship building, credit, financial analysis, decision making, and communication skills
Knowledge of low‑to‑moderate income communities and ability to create tailored financial solutions
Experience with sustainable loan principles and tax credit financing preferred
