Sr. Tax Analyst, Property Tax

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Overview Lead Tax Analyst – Indirect Tax opening with our client. Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, the professional hired will operate independently in a fast‑paced environment, partnering proactively within the tax team and numerous functional teams across the organization.
Responsibilities
Prepare and assist with all aspects of property tax compliance and filings
Assist with managing and providing data to our outside service providers to ensure timely filing of all tax compliance filings
Assist with indirect tax diligence pertaining to new acquisitions, new construction, and early buyouts of projects
Assist with and take a leadership role implementing a new tax engine
Participate in discussions with a variety of teams to understand the scope of new transactions in order to provide the proper guidance from an indirect tax perspective.
Remain informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to business transactions
Research new sales and use tax laws and regulations
Assist with special tax projects assigned.
Support tax leadership in establishing and refining tax policies, processes and system workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
4+ years’ experience with indirect tax (specifically Property Tax)
Proficiency in use of state and local tax compliance software, legal research software and suite of Microsoft Office programs.
Experience with US state and local tax compliance for large corporations.
