Investment Sales Analyst – Commercial Real Estate

Position Overview Investment Sales Analyst – Multifamily Investment Sales platform. In-office position in Los Angeles, CA, supporting regional teams with an immediate start date.

Position Responsibilities

Underwrite income‑producing assets using Excel, including:

Analyzing historical operating statements, leases, loan and regulatory agreements, and current market conditions to determine financial underwriting assumptions.

Reviewing, comprehending, abstracting, and interpreting various real‑estate documents.

Identifying critical property‑level financial issues and recommending value‑add opportunities.

Creating property evaluations and sensitivity analyses.

Develop compelling narratives around the property to effectively showcase the investment opportunity to industry professionals.

Present analysis results to producers with a wide range of financial acumen.

Plan, schedule, and prioritize workload to best utilize time and efficiently manage daily tasks—including research, financial analysis, and underwriting—across multiple offices.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years of related experience; a financial analysis background is required.

Four‑year college degree required; major in real estate, finance, accounting, or business preferred.

Strong understanding of finance analytical skills, financial terms, and principles necessary in real‑estate underwriting, including DCF, IRR, NPV, Time Value of Money, Return on Equity, etc. Knowledge of Salesforce, ARGUS, and InDesign is a plus.

Ability to analyze, research, and underwrite various multifamily asset classes across multiple markets.

Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively and professionally with a wide variety of internal and external parties.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task under pressure and an aptitude for problem‑solving.

Strong work ethic and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

Salary range is $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually (a good faith estimate) plus annual bonus eligibility and additional benefits. Actual compensation will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
