The Role The IT Asset Specialist is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end lifecycle of hardware assets, including inventory tracking, missing asset resolution, cost optimization, and support for IT policies and governance.

Responsibilities

Track, maintain, and report accurate records of assets throughout their lifecycle to support decision‑making and compliance.

Collaborate with management, vendors, and legal teams to support asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal; triage tickets to appropriate support groups, ensuring proper escalation of major incidents.

Report and communicate asset performance, risks, and recommendations to leadership or clients.

Maintain accuracy of stock rooms and update management on inventory requirements.

Provide frontline technical support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues for end users, keeping workstations operational.

Qualifications Experience Required

3+ years of progressive experience in IT service management.

High proficiency with technology and data‑analytics tools used for asset tracking, reporting, and performance optimization.

Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, clearly explaining strategies, risks, and results to clients and leadership.

Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices; ITIL certification (v3 or v4) highly desirable.

Proven ability to develop and execute strategies that integrate automation and emerging technologies to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Experience Preferred

Experience with ticketing‐management systems (ServiceNow preferred).

Experience with active directory or an Identity Management System (Omada).

Salary The salary range for this position is $60,800 – $70,000, depending on experience, skill level, and location of work. Pay will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage.
