The Role The IT Asset Specialist is primarily responsible for managing the end‑to‑end lifecycle of hardware assets, including tracking inventory, locating missing assets, optimizing costs, and supporting IT policies and governance.

Responsibilities

Track, maintain, and report accurate records of assets throughout their lifecycle to support decision‑making and compliance

Collaborate with management, vendors, and legal teams to support asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal, and triage tickets to the appropriate support groups with proper escalation of major incidents

Report and communicate asset performance, risks, and recommendations to leadership or clients

Maintain accuracy of stock rooms and update management on inventory requirements

Provide frontline technical support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues for end‑users to keep their workstations operational

Qualifications Experience Required

3+ years of progressive experience in IT service management

High proficiency with technology and data analytics tools used for asset tracking, reporting, and performance optimization

Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills to clearly explain strategies, risks, and results to clients and leadership

Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices; ITIL certification (v3 or v4) highly desirable

Proven ability to develop and execute strategies that integrate automation and emerging technologies to improve customer experience and operational efficiency

Experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Experience Preferred

Experience with ticketing management systems (ServiceNow preferred)

Experience with Active Directory or an Identity Management System (Omada)

The salary range for this position is $60,800 - $70,000. The final pay rate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of work.
