Job Summary: Acrisure is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing team in small to middle market commercial lines.

Responsibilities: New Business

Assist clients with coverage changes in an automated environment supported by an imaging system; determine whether delayed or advanced billing is appropriate and invoice accordingly. Use each client contact as an opportunity to review the entire account and round it out.

Inform and educate clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions and insurance coverage needs.

Provide technical support to Producer(s) to benefit clients and to reach agency's strategic business goals.

Obtain client signatures on applications as necessary; follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.

Manage clients' needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items; verify their accuracy.

Retention

Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as needed for account review.

Maintain and update electronic and client activity files.

Verify policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary.

Process incoming mail requests, responding promptly and appropriately.

Verify accuracy of all direct billed cancellations and take appropriate corrective action when needed.

Use agency credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt payments.

Process and follow up on cancellation requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution; maintain agency financial equity whenever possible.

Personal and Organizational Development

Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.

Maintain cordial and effective relationships with clients, co‑workers, and other business contacts.

Stay informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance when needed to achieve the business goals of the agency.

Perform technical tasks to expedite client services.

Education and Experience Requirements

Five (5) or more years Commercial Lines Account Manager experience preferred, but 3+ years will be considered.

Must have an active P&C License.

Experience using Applied Epic strongly preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
