This role ensures JLL's marketing platforms (Marketing for Leasing, Marketing for Sales, Marketing for Revenue), tools and Core Practices are effectively employed to drive foot traffic, enhance tenant success, and maximize client satisfaction.The Marketing and Community Engagement Manager oversees marketing and community engagement for Chicago Ridge Mall, leading and executing dynamic programming and events that attract shoppers, strengthen tenant relationships, and build lasting community connections. This position requires an event planning or hospitality background to create memorable experiences that drive customer loyalty and shopping center performance.**Job Responsibilities*** Marketing strategy implementation for an assigned group of properties and management of on-site marketing managers* Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and the property team in the development of the annual marketing plan for the property based upon the center’s strategic goals* Review and approve the center’s annual marketing budgets along with review/approval of reforecast throughout the year* Responsible for writing/directing leasing marketing material production, fact sheets, brochures and website listings to ensure they are current and compelling* Management of the center’s digital strategy – website, email, mobile, proximity, and social media; including the launch and full content approval* Management of all in-center experiential programming including photo operations, seasonal décor (managing purchases up to $500,000), in-center signage and directories and the roll-out of on-property programming* Responsible for client relationship management as it pertains to marketing, including on-site meetings, virtual meetings and presentations as needed* Manages property programs to ensure quality and alignment with client objectives as well adherence to JLL Retail Core Practices and Standards of ExcellenceNational Property Services Marketing Responsibilities* Participates in new business presentations and pitches to win property management assignments* Leads market research at the property via ERSI and PinPoint for Retail marketing and manages Marketing for Leasing projects with the assigned leasing agent or broker* Manages the external PR firm to garner positive publicity for JLL consumer marketing programs; provide local PR and crisis support as needed* Writes/contributes articles related to consumer marketing (i.e., Retail Beat, Consumer Marketing Newsletter)* Writes/Designs Idea Guides and Implementation Manuals for all consumer marketing programs* Manages the Peer-to-Peer program and serves as primary lead for marketing new hire training; maintain online training courses for consumer marketing* Manages assigned special projects as part of the national Retail marketing team* Manages marketing manuals and all Core Practice materials related to marketing* Creates training, programming and content for PM’s Management U**Skills and Knowledge*** Shopping center marketing/management experience required* Computer literate, knowledge of marketing fundamentals and research* Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written), special event coordination and management experience along with the ability to multitask* Sales/negotiation skills* Must have experience in managing budgets* Must have flexibility to work varied schedules* Must be able to travel, as needed* Strong team player**Education/training-** Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field. Experience in a third-party property management environment preferred**Years of relevant experience –** 5-7 years in retail, marketing, advertising, or comparable business experience**Certifications/Licenses**- CMD destination preferred. Real Estate license is a plus, but not requiredThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
