Represent the organization by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects to sell ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses. Apply broad knowledge of the organization’s products, services and marketing campaigns to close sales and maintain relations with identified customers. Uncover and understand customer’s strategic priorities, buying motives, end‑user needs, office processes and business operations to secure orders or product commitments. Learn the organization’s products, services and policies through training, manuals, seminars and field experience. Articulate added value to customers while securing orders, assist in inventory/control of lenses, keep customers abreast of supply and price trends, and maintain records and reports of all activities. Provide scientific and economic product differentiation to customers in a compliant manner while maintaining the sales program within the assigned territory. Position products and economic solutions as the best option for customers and patients, delivering a competitive clinical and financial message tailored to their needs. Communicate clear and concise sales messages using multiple resources and tools, and complete pre‑call plans for all accounts to influence customer behavior. Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree. At least 2 years of business‑to‑business and/or medical sales experience, or an equivalent combination, or completion of a J&J Sales Leadership Development Program. A valid driver’s license issued in the United States. Ability to travel, including overnight or weekend travel. Excellent interpersonal skills, competitive selling technique, business acumen, organizational skills, ability to manage complexity, and strong written and oral communication skills. Thorough knowledge of sales applications and principles. Residence in or near Stamford, Connecticut. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., sit at a desk for up to 2 hours, climb stairs, walk quickly between interactions, and travel independently. Preferred Qualifications
Combination of business‑to‑business and medical sales experience. Documented sales awards or achievements, prior management development training, or completion of major sales training courses. Salary and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $67,000–$121,000. The company offers a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Eligible employees may participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, group legal insurance, a consolidated retirement (401(k)) plan, and a long‑term incentive program. Time‑off benefits include vacation (up to 120 hours per calendar year), sick time (up to 40 hours, or 56 hours in Washington State), holiday pay and floating holidays (up to 13 days), and work/personal/family time (up to 40 hours).
