## Description**Job Title:** Assistant Sales Manager of Lending**Reports To**: Manager of Lending**Department:** Lending, Visa, and Member Solutions**Status:** Salaried, Non-ExemptCentral Credit Union of Illinois is seeking a results-driven **Assistant Manager of Lending** to lead and inspire our Lending, Visa, and Member Solutions team. This is a sales-heavy leadership role focused on driving loan production, increasing product penetration, and achieving measurable growth in lending and member solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, highly motivated, and capable of coaching a team to consistently exceed sales and service goals.**Key Responsibilities*** Sales Leadership & Team Development
+ Lead, coach, and motivate the Lending, Visa, and Member Solutions team to achieve loan production and product sales targets.
+ Conduct weekly sales coaching sessions to review team goals, monitor KPIs, and implement actionable strategies for improvement.
+ Partner with the manager of lending to develop individual performance plans to enhance sales skills and service delivery.
+ Foster a high-performance, sales-driven culture with accountability for results.* Sales Strategy & Execution
+ Drive sales of loans, loan protection products (GAP, MRC, Credit Disability), and Visa products.
+ Promote Kasasa depository account penetration and other member solutions to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
+ Monitor and report team performance metrics, including loan volume, product attachment rates, and conversion metrics.
+ Identify trends and opportunities to increase revenue and profitability through targeted sales initiatives.* Operational & Compliance Support
+ Oversee daily operations of lending processes, supporting loan origination, underwriting, funding, and collections as needed.
+ Ensure team compliance with all federal, state, and NCUA regulations, and internal policies.
+ Partner with Manager of Lending to streamline workflows, enhance member experience, and implement process improvements.* Collaboration & Training
+ Work closely with the Manager of Lending and Human Resources to develop, plan, and coordinate training for loan officers, mortgage loan officers, and NMLS compliance.
+ Collaborate with the Manager of Lending to support system implementations and other departmental projects.
+ Partner with the Manager of Lending, the Operations team, Human Resources to align sales initiatives with broader organizational goals.## Qualifications**Qualifications*** Proven experience in sales required.* Banking knowledge is preferred.* Proven experience in management preferred.* Strong knowledge of consumer lending products, Visa, and depository solutions.* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. • Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.* Results-oriented with ability to set and achieve ambitious sales goals.* Knowledge of compliance regulations and lending operations is preferred.* Proficiency with financial systems and lending software (MeridianLink experience is a plus).**Core Competencies*** Sales-driven leadership and team coaching* Revenue growth and product penetration* Strategic planning and execution* Member-focused service orientation* Operational and regulatory complianceWORK SCHEDULE FOR A FULL TIME ASSISTANT LENDING MANAGER30-37.75 Hours per week with varying schedule**Job Type**: Full-time**Benefits**:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insurance**Education**:* High school or equivalent (Required)* Associates degree and equivalent industry experience required.
