A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Benefits to lead the design, implementation, administration, and communication of comprehensive employee benefit programs. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving strategy, compliance, vendor management, and team development within a complex, multi-divisional environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the design and administration of health & welfare, retirement, and voluntary benefit plans Ensure compliance with IRS, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and other regulations Manage external vendors, brokers, consultants, and trustees Lead and develop a benefits team while driving operational excellence Partner with HR leadership on Total Rewards strategy and initiatives Collaborate with HRIS/IT teams to enhance systems and improve benefits delivery Develop metrics and reporting to evaluate program effectiveness and ROI Serve as a key resource for escalated benefits issues and process improvements Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, HR, or related field (Masters preferred) 10+ years of progressive benefits leadership experience Experience in a complex healthcare system or multi-divisional organization preferred Strong knowledge of retirement plans (401k/403b), health & welfare plans, and compliance regulations HRIS experience required Certification such as CBP or CEBS preferred Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills This is an excellent opportunity to lead a strategic benefits function within a mission-driven organization offering strong benefits, career growth, and a collaborative culture.
