Entry Writer

Our client an international freight forwarding and logistics company, is seeking an Entry Writer to join their Illinois team. Title: Customs Entry Writer Industry: Logistics Type: Full Time Direct Hire Salary: $30-40/hr Hours: 9 - 6 PM Location: Wood Dale IL (on site) Key Responsibilities: Prepares and submits accurate customs declarations. Coordinates with sales departments for timely customs processing. Ensures logistics activities meet legal and corporate compliance standards (e.g., TS A, CTPAT). Manages import logistics, schedules pickups/deliveries, and communicates with carriers. Tracks shipments and provides updates to customers. Handles billing, freight charges, and contract data entry. Resolves logistics issues and supports related operations. Provides price quotations for new and existing customers. Assists in invoicing for Airfreight, Ocean, and Trucking departments.
