We’re looking for a Videographer & Editor who is passionate about visual storytelling and excited to bring brands to life through video and audio content. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be involved in every stage of the creative process — from brainstorming concepts and planning shoots to filming, editing, and final delivery. Projects may range from brand videos and commercials to social media content, interviews, podcasts, recruitment videos, and photography. This full-time position will require 40 hours per week. Gravity maintains a hybrid work environment, and hours can be split between working in the office (in Harrisonburg, VA), working from home, and working from client sites (as needed). During the onboarding and training period (first 6-9 months), the expectation is to be in the office approximately 3-4 days/week to take advantage of opportunities to learn from and connect with other members of the team. This position does require some travel and may require the occasional evening/weekend to accommodate clients’ production needs. Qualifications & Requirements 1–3+ years of experience in videography, video editing, or related content production work; freelance, internship, or portfolio-based experience will also be considered Experience producing video content for advertising, marketing, social media, brand storytelling, or promotional purposes Experience shooting and editing a variety of content formats, including interviews, testimonials, social media content, commercials, recruitment videos, etc. Experience with photography, podcast production, motion graphics, animation, or drone footage is a plus Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is preferred Technical Skills Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator Strong understanding of camera operation, composition, lighting, audio capture, and editing techniques Familiarity with video production equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, microphones, tripods, and related gear Ability to edit video and audio content with strong attention to pacing, storytelling, detail, and quality Familiarity with social media video formats, content trends, and platform best practices Comfortable working on Mac computers and using Google Workspace tools Passion for visual storytelling and creating content that connects with audiences Creative, curious, positive, reliable, and detail-oriented Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills Self-starter who takes ownership, works well with others, and follows through Comfortable receiving feedback, adapting quickly, and working within deadlines Professional and approachable with teammates, clients, and on-camera talent Desire to learn, grow, and continue building skills over time Additional Requirements Ability to lift up to 20 pounds Ability to travel to client locations and work on-site for video shoots as needed Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required to accommodate production schedules Responsibilities, Duties PRIMARY Execute video, photography, and audio projects from concept through final delivery, including planning, shooting, editing, and finishing. Produce high-quality short- and long-form content for commercials, brand videos, interviews, social media, podcasts, recruitment campaigns, and more. Coordinate shoot logistics, operate production equipment, and edit content using Adobe Creative Cloud. Collaborate with team members and clients to create content that aligns with brand goals, audience needs, and overall strategy. Ensure all work meets Gravity Group’s quality standards for storytelling, visual consistency, and technical execution. Stay up to date on content trends, bring fresh ideas to the team, and support Gravity’s own marketing efforts through internal content creation.
