Adecco is hiring for a Polisher in Billerica, MA! This is a temp to hire opportunity.

Pay rate: $18 per hour Schedule: Monday thru Thursday 6am-430pm

Key Responsibilities

Surface Finishing: Grind, sand, buff, and polish materials to create smooth, polished, or high-luster surfaces.

Quality Inspection: Examine products for defects, flaws, scratches, or cracks before and after polishing.

Tool Operation:

Utilize equipment like buffing wheels, abrasive tools, grinders, and hand tools securely.

Compliance & Safety: Adhere to safety guidelines, wear protective gear, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Documentation: Record production data and report equipment malfunctions or consistent product defects.

Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, or mark items for further production, such as plating or painting.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials (up to 40-50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.

Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision to achieve specific, high-quality finishes.

Technical Aptitude: Ability to read blueprints, follow, and understand technical documents and specifications.

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals/abrasives.
