Position Summary The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid role in Firestone Complete Auto Care stores. You will assess customer needs, recommend products and services, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction while learning all aspects of store operations. This role serves as a pipeline for future career growth.

Responsibilities

Customer service, sales, and issue resolution – 75%.

Basic vehicle service tasks (oil, tire, fluid changes) – 25%.

Store operations (opening/closing, inventory, displays) as needed.

Assisting or acting as Manager‑On‑Duty and supporting store operations development.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid automobile driver’s license.

Customer‑service orientation and growth mindset.

Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle tasks.

Capacity to learn and use store systems.

Preferred Qualifications

College coursework, training program completion, or other education illustrating a growth mindset.

Previous consumer retail sales experience.

Experience in automotive services.

Prior management or supervisory experience.
