Full-Time Retail Sales Associate
to join our Team! $12.95 to $15.95 per hour We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.96 per hour on top of your hourly rate. Position Summary We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions; resolves inquiries and problems; and works with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Final pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities Greets and interacts with customers to build rapport and present appropriate financial solutions. Performs non-management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays. Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements. Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Collaborates with coworkers to create a positive customer experience. Completes required training successfully. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods as required by law. Ability to work with firearms and become certified (where applicable). May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored externally. Minimum Age: 18 years old High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Basic math proficiency Cash handling experience preferred. Flexibility to work at multiple locations as needed. Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate; able to operate POS systems. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
