Full-Time Retail Sales Associate We are currently looking for the right team member to join our Team! Pay : $12.95 to $15.95 per hour We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.36 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and thrives on engaging with customers and resolving inquiries. The role involves working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations) and more.
The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage, plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
Performs non-management open/close procedures.
Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Answers incoming calls per company standards.
Explains legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using effective communication tools.
Collaborates with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
Completes assigned training successfully.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing and able to stand for extended periods and perform duties including walking, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling as required by law.
Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
May assist customers on exterior of the building or retrieve products stored externally.
Minimum Age: 18 years old
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
Cash handling experience is preferred.
Ability to work in multiple locations as needed.
Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.
Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
